Brief Summary: For this design-build project, Stupp Bridge Company fabricated 6,400 tons of steel for the Daniel Boone Bridge which carries Interstate 64 across the Missouri River. The bridge’s main span is 512’ long, and the largest girders were over 14’ deep and weighed over 50 tons each. This bridge utilized partially painted Grade HPS70W and 50W steel.
